I think windsocks are neat at the beach. I have one that I won through a magazine. It blows in the wind by the Elephant ears making for a tropical feel to my bones!
I might have to make myself one...thinking, thinking, thinking...
Oh, the windsocks remind me of the beach too. And of kites, which remind me of the beach. I love those instructions that you linked to - "turn the fabric to the ugly side" that cracks me up!
I have too many here, but do like the movement they bring to the garden. These are all bright and colorful.
