Portland cement is the glue and the strength, as the pots age the peat moss deteriorates and leaves voids. With out the strength and glue of the cement and fibers the pots will break and/or deteriorate. For strength and longevity you MUST have PORTLAND CEMENT as a equal ingredient. of course it makes the pots a little heavier but comman sense must prevail if you want your pot to last.Hasudihypertufanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109912811499316570.post-82005019425676987012008-09-08T00:44:00.000-05:002008-09-08T00:44:00.000-05:00Love your blog!Making things with hypertufa is not...Love your blog!

Making things with hypertufa is not only fun but rewarding. I'm not allowed to do anything permanent at my veggie garden as I rent the plot but I'm sure I can figure something out! :)Rosahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08398715219729884144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8109912811499316570.post-57565323845410775702008-07-02T13:48:00.000-05:002008-07-02T13:48:00.000-05:00I have always wanted to do these.
